Description

This articulated fish-shaped box has moveable joints along the entire body, similar to Japanese articulated bronzes (which are usually fashioned in the form of lobsters or crabs). The eyes are made of inlaid red garnet, and the head is a liftable lid, which can be raised to reveal a screw cap vial made of cut glass.
