This you wine vessel has a lid and raised handle, with a round cross-section, long female-side mouth, and an everted ring foot, with a platform design near the base. The two ends of the arch-shaped raised handle are decorated with columnar horned beast heads. The lid, belly, and ring foot are adorned with four sets of flanges divided into five sections, and the style and decorative patterns of the vessel are characteristic of the late Shang period. The symmetrical inscriptions on the lid are clan markings, and consist of one character each.
