  • Galaxy Adventure of NPM Guardians

Based on the Qing dynasty painting Syzygy of the Sun, Moon, and the Five Planets by the artist Xu Yang, the Directorate of the Imperial Observatory predicted that the sun, the moon, and the five planets would line up at noon on the first day of the coming lunar year—an event known as a "syzygy." However, the officials were worried that the prediction might not come true. Planetary deity Kuixing volunteered to contact the five planets to ensure the smooth alignment of the stars. At the same time, five treasures escaped from the NPM and took off for the planets. Kuixing summoned the Guardians of the NPM, 15th century Vietnamese Monkey King, Western Han dynasty Pottery Pig, and Tang dynasty Madam Tang (Pottery Figure of Lady Playing Polo) to help search for the five escaped treasures and restore peace and prosperity to the universe.
