Immerse Aura
In 2020, National Palace Museum produced a series of 8K cultural relic films, called "A New Vision of National Treasures", which stirred up a sensation. The 8K camera captured the artifacts from multiple angles and axes, revealing a full view that was previously unseen in the exhibition.
The exhibition's immersive theater displays six 8K films of artifacts, such as “Travelers Among Mountains and Streams,” “Early Spring,” “Whispering Pines in Myriad Valleys,” “Meat-shaped Stone,” “Jadeite Cabbage,” and “Bowl decorated with ink landscape in falangcai painted enamels” projected onto a curved circular screen.
Digital technology enables viewers to observe microscopic details of cultural relics on screen. This encompasses reproducing the silk and ink textures of the three renowned Song Dynasty paintings, the meticulous carving of the jadeite cabbage, the layered texture of the meat-shaped stone, and the three-dimensional landscape depicted on the enamel porcelain bowl.
