Description

This bottle has a straight mouth, short neck, square shoulders, and a short ring foot. The body of the bottle is in a neat square form. One side is adorned with a relief of cats, butterflies, and plantain leaves, while the other side is decorated with a four-character inscription in seal script stating, “Mao Die Chang Cun (longevity and eternal spring),” accompanied by a round and a square seal. The lid is made of bronze inlaid with coral, to which an ivory spoon is attached.
