The breathtaking design of this piece is paired with superb technical skills and a skillful grasp of high-relief and bas-relief techniques in its creation of the fully dynamic and lifelike divine beast and phoenix. The effort put into this piece is extraordinary, and particular care has been paid to the carvings in intaglio.
