Description

This ding cauldron has two upright handles, a wide mouth, round belly, and three legs. A ring of qiequ patterns and a ring of string pattern encircle the ding cauldron below the rim. A total of 62 characters in 10 columns are inscribed on the interior wall of the vessel. This vessel is documented in the page 17 of Volume 1 of the Ningshou Jiangu (Illustrated Catalogue of the Ningshou Antiquities).
